Mortising made easy.
Panel, frame, face, slab, timber and even beveled joints are all possible with the
Domino mortise and tenon joining system. The unique cutting action and adjustable
hole widths make loose tenon joinery faster, easier, and more accurate than ever
before.

The Domino tenon is designed to fit precisely into the mortise created by the tool.
These tenons are rotation-proof, and have glue expansion slots designed into their
surface to ensure a good, strong joint. Stronger than a dowel or biscuit, the Domino
system is quickly becoming the preferred system for joinery.
Aligning boards is as simple as making the first cut, and then using the optional
cross-stop with aligning pins to index off of the previous cut for perfectly spaced
mortises. Mortises can easily be made in thin or round stock using the optional
trim stop or handrail fence. Experience the Domino and join the revolution.
Joining has always been a slow, difficult process. Never again, thanks to the Festool
Domino joining system. The system consists of the Domino joiner and pre-fabricated,
beech and sipo Domino tenons. The Domino joiner, with its revolutionary cutting
method, simple indexing features and adjustable mortise sizing, makes flawless mortises
every single time. The Domino tenon is equally as impressive—it is 100% rotation-proof
and far stronger than either biscuits or dowels. It also has a large gluing surface
area for extra strength.

A durable mortise and tenon joint, without all the work.
As with all things Festool, the Domino tenon was designed as one piece of a broader
system, and is optimized to deliver maximum joint strength. The Domino tenon is
offered in two types, based on need: beech hardwood for indoor applications, and
sipo hardwood for outdoor applications. The Sipo tenons are perfect for outdoor
applications, because they are weatherproof and mold and insect-resistant. Both
types of Domino tenons are manufactured of wood from sustainable, cultivated forests.
